Modesto's, Vivocity

Friday date night with the boyfriend sometime back. We were in Vivocity and I wanted to go somewhere for a nice meal. Our initial plan was to join the crowds at Marche but when it became obvious that the queue was painfully long, we headed to Modesto's instead.

Did not take us long to be seated at a small table along the wall and we looked through the menu quickly. We chose the Spaghetti Aglio Olio ($18) and Portobello Pizza ($24 - Regular) to share.

The Spaghetti Aglio Olio, tossed in olive oil and filled with chili and garlic slices, was decent. However, it was a little too salty and oily. Might be better if less olive oil was used.

The Portobello Pizza with portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese was delicious! Slices of pizza covered with cheese, juicy tomatoes, and tasty portobello mushrooms.

A convenient Italian restaurant in Vivocity which is comfortable and affordable. I would not make a special trip here just to dine in Modesto's but I would return if I am in Vivocity and Marche is too crowded again.
