Ice Cream Gallery

This little ice cream shop along Tanjong Katong is a hot favourite around the area, judging by the crowd  packed into the tiny place most nights. I am especially fond of dropping by for my ice cream fix after dinner in one of the nearby cafes. Honestly, Tanjong Katong Road is lined with so many fantastic cafes and eateries, you can simply pop by into any one of them for dinner and then Ice Cream Gallery for dessert.

The decoration inside the small ice cream shop is simple and modern with white tables and chairs at the back, behind the counter. The place can be very crowded on some nights with everybody milling around inside trying to snag a table. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to let you try the flavours and dishing out recommendations when asked. I've tried their brownie with a scoop of rum and raisin before and it was superb! The brownie was warm and moist and I enjoyed the rum and raisin too.

The price of the ice cream is very reasonable and the scoop is large. I am always reluctant to spend too much money on ice cream in shops like Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Daz unless I have an irresistible craving for the strawberry cheesecake or caramel and biscuit. So the pricing of Ice Cream Gallery always make me happy to indulge in more ice cream.

To get to Ice Cream Gallery, you can take Bus 32 from Kallang MRT and alight opposite the famous Punggol Nasi Lemak store. Cross the road and you will find Ice Cream Gallery.
